6'6 F Terry McKinney III of Millennium

Wednesday, Feb 1st I headed up West to watch the host #1 Millennium Tigers take on the #2 Sunnyslope Vikings.
It was a wildly contested game from start to finish with the home team actually losing most of the game.
The 1st quarter was all the road team as they led 25-18 behind Darius Wabbington's 12 points from inside and out plus Rider Portela with 10 points.
The 2nd quarter the home team made a push behind the talents of their two five-stars of Cameron Holmes and Adan Diggs. They were only down 45-43 heading into intermission.
The 3rd quarter started and Delton Prescott III scored 8 straight points to give them a 55-43 lead but the Tigers steadied the storm and cut it to 5 points with a 68-63 Vikings lead heading into the 4th quarter.
The 4th quarter had some big swings with the Tigers scoring 10 straight and then the Vikings scoring 10 straight giving them a 78-73 lead with 3 mins to play. Terry McKinney III scored the team's last six points, which turned out to be the final last six points of the game. He went baseline and rose up from mid-range and kissed it off the glass at the buzzer to win it 79-78.
